Doosan Infracore Portable Power last week named Shawn Sweet vice president for global marketing. Sweet is responsible for strategic marketing initiatives worldwide.
Sweet previously served as vice president of sales for North America for Ingersoll Rand. Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment was acquired by Doosan Infracore in late 2007. Sweet joined Ingersoll Rand in 1990, originally working on the sales team in Canada, and later was based in Houston as regional vice president of Ingersoll Rand Equipment & Services. Sweet has worked in sales, marketing, product management, operations and sales management roles in various North American locations.
