Five crane operators from Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Milwaukee, were honored by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association with SC&RA’s 2012 Crane Operator Safety Award for their outstanding safety records of 10,000 consecutive man-hours without a recordable injury or illness. The honorees were each presented with a special SC&RA safety vest.
“Accumulating such a safety record is an impressive accomplishment and is deserving of industry recognition,” said Beth O’Quinn, SC&RA vice president. “We hope they will wear their vests with pride in winning such a prestigious honor.”
