After drawing more than 370 people from six countries and 31 U.S. states to the first Crane & Rigging Conference in Houston in May 2010, Maximum Capacity Media, publisher of Crane Hot Line, Lift and Access and Industrial Lift and Hoist magazines, will host three related events in 2011.

Based on positive feedback from attendees, exhibitors and sponsors, the Crane & Rigging conference, and the Industrial Crane & Hoist Conference, which was held concurrently with the CRC, will return to Houston in July 2011.

Maximum Capacity Media will stage an additional CRC event to be co-located with ConExpo in Las Vegas in March 2011. “I am very excited that ConExpo/ConAgg has invited us to co-locate our event with the 2011 trade show,” said Guy Ramsey, president of MCM. “As one of the two largest construction equipment expositions in the world, the show typically hosts thousands of crane owners, operators, and rigging professionals. Partnering CRC with ConExpo makes it possible to promote the safe and productive use of cranes to a much larger audience.”

“We placed extra focus on lifting equipment at the 2008 ConExpo/ConAgg and we want to build on that in 2011 and beyond,” said Megan Tanel, vice president exhibitions and events for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. “Co-locating the Crane & Rigging Conference with next year’s show will help strengthen the value of our event for the lifting industry and the contractors that use lifting equipment.”

Also, ICHC will be co-located with ProMat 2011 in Chicago, also in March 2011.
