Continental Crane Co. recently acquired the assets of Carde Pacific, a rental fleet with more than 60 rough terrain, all-terrain and crawler cranes, as well as a large inventory of boom trucks and hydraulic truck cranes from manufacturers including Terex, Comedil, American, Manitowoc, Link-Belt, Grove and Liebherr.

Both companies served the Los Angeles and San Diego metro areas, and were headquartered about a mile apart. Continental Crane has changed its name to Carde Pacific, and will continue to operate at the Continental Crane facility.

All Carde Pacific cranes meet Tier-3 emission standards and are maintained for optimum performance and reliability.

The new Carde Pacific will be among the largest Kobelco and Terex crane dealers in the United States, as well as a leading supplier of crane rental in Southern California. In addition, adding the inventory and personnel from Carde will create one of the largest and most networked crane parts and crane service companies in California, the company said.

Carde Pacific Cranes is based in La Mirada, Calif., and services the entire Southwest from California to New Mexico for crane sales, crane rentals and crane service. For more information, visit www.cardepacific.com.
