Compact Power Equipment Rental, which partners with Home Depot in store locations across the United States and Canada, has now reached 1,000 locations.

Compact Power Equipment Rental, which partners with Home Depot in store locations across the United States and Canada, has now reached 1,000 locations. To commemorate the 1,000th store opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Aug. 28 at the Home Depot in Bluffton, S.C.

Compact Power Equipment Rentals provides towable rental equipment including mini-skid-steer loaders, excavators, boomlifts and tractor-loader backhoes.

The partnership between CPER and Home Depot has expanded from three pilot locations in Charlotte, N.C., in 2008.

“In six years, this steady expansion has not only included the market growth of Compact Power’s partnership with The Home Depot program and continued location expansion, but also opportunities for future growth with our new VIP delivery program,” said Roger Braswell, founder and CEO. “We never stop looking for ways to truly delight our customers and make their rental expansion easier.”

Braswell added that VIP delivery service was rolled out in select markets early this year and supplements the in-store pick-up option. “This new service, along with continuing location expansion, has allowed us to grow by more than 40 percent over last year,” Braswell said.

“Our commitment to our customers doesn’t end with this milestone,” said Richard Porter, chief operating officer. “Compact Power looks forward to continuing to serve customers in many more locations to come with an ever-expanding lineup of rental equipment options.”
