Cat Financial Sues Excavating Company for Default of Rental Contracts

Nashville, Tenn.-based Caterpillar Financial filed suit last week against Terra Construction Group, a St. Petersburg, Fla.-based excavating company for $11.8 million, accusing the company’s owners of defaulting on multiple agreements to rent excavating equipment, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

Terra Construction Group a site preparation construction company serving central and western Florida and one of the largest in the state. Its services include full-service civil site excavation, heavy earthmoving, clearing and grading, infrastructure, utilities and sewerage systems, roads, highways and parking lots.
