Cat Entertainment Services, a service provider of temporary power generation and temperature control equipment for major events and production projects has gone global, the company said. Since its inception in 2000, CES has provided power generation, distribution and high-volume temperature control solutions for sporting and special events; concerts, tours and music festivals; film, video and broadcast productions; and conventions, conferences and exposition.

CES will work with the Cat Rental Power network to supply sound-attenuated, emissions-certified generators and power modules, with complete onsite installation, monitoring, transportation, fuel service and factory-trained personnel.

“Caterpillar is excited to support Cat Entertainment Services as it expands its role in the major international events market,” said Bill Rohner, Caterpillar vice president with responsibility for the electric power division.

CES has supplied such events as the World Series, the Super Bowl, Formula 1, NASCAR, Cirque du Soleil and others. The company is a division of Ring Power, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based Caterpillar dealership.
