Capital Rentals Divests Party Rental Division

Capital Rentals, a major player in the Washington, D.C., metro area, last week sold the assets of its party rental division, Capital Party Rentals, to John Moran, a veteran of the special event rental industry and previous president of Classic Party Rentals.

Capital Rentals, a major player in the Washington, D.C., metro area, last week sold the assets of its party rental division, Capital Party Rentals, to John Moran, a veteran of the special event rental industry and previous president of Classic Party Rentals.

“After nearly 40 years in the party rental business, we decided to focus solely on our tool and construction rental business,” said Brian Vaughan, president of Capital Rentals. Capital Rentals owns and will continue to operate its seven construction equipment rental locations in and around Washington, D.C.

Based in Sterling, Va., Capital Rentals is No. 80 on the RER 100.
