Camso, formerly known as Camoplast Solideal, has increased its warranty terms for its mini-tracks. Camso has increased its warranty from 30 months/2,500 hours to 36 months or 3,000 hours – whichever comes first -- on the MEX HXD tracks, and from 18 months or 1,500 hours to 24 months or 2,000 hours for the MEX SD tracks.
Also, the MEX tracks are non-prorated so customers receive full value on warranty replacement tracks related to manufacturing defects.
“We are very pleased to be in a position to increase our warranty terms,” said David Gingras, engineering & product support executive director – construction. “Our improved track designs, testing and premium rubber compound allows us to provide the best warranty of the industry to our customers."
According to Camso, its HXD tracks are designed with thicker carcass offering more protection on puncture and edge cutting, translating into improved damage resistance, less downtime and more than 30 percent more service life than standard aftermarket tracks.
Camso construction tracks are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship from date of purchase. This change to the warranty terms are already in effect. Warranty claims can be made directly to a Camso dealer. More information about service conditions and warranty guidelines can be found at camso.co.
