Bigge Adds to Its Houston Rough-Terrain Crane Fleet

April 10, 2013

Bigge Crane & Rigging has added two new Grove rough-terrain crane models to its Houston fleet, the RT9130E and the RT9150E. Bigge now has six machines between these two models in Houston to complement more than three dozen Grove RT890E rough-terrain cranes. Bigge’s Texas operation, which was launched a little more than three years ago, now has nearly 100 units in its fleet.

“We are adding capacity as fast as we can,” said Brian Noga, Houston operations manager for Bigge. “These new high-capacity RTs have immediately gone to work, and have been eagerly accepted by our customers because of all their attributes.”

Bigge rents a lot to the petrochemical industry in the Houston area, as well as general civil and industrial construction projects. Bigge’s crane rental fleet nationally has more than 500 machines, for both bare lease and operated and maintained rentals. Bigge operates in nine U.S. states. Its headquarters are in San Leandro, Calif.
