BASF Construction Chemicals - Building Systems recently named Spider its national supplier for Competent Person Training for its technical services and sales teams. The agreement secures training for an initial 94 BASF professionals at 12 of Spider’s 24 locations to prepare them to meet the OSHA 1926.503 standard.

“Spider’s recognized leadership in reliable suspended access, national footprint and extensive course schedule make this training agreement a valuable partnership for BASF,” said BASF area manager Phil Bergum.

Companies with field-based personnel can struggle to consistently deliver quality training across multiple regions at reasonable cost. Spider’s accredited Competent Person Training bridges this gap. By centrally managing the registration and billing process, Spider simplifies registering individual employees for classes and drives efficiency for BASF in vendor management.
