Alert Management Systems Attracts Record Attendance at User Group Conference

Alert Management Systems, a leading supplier of equipment rental software, achieved record-high attendance at its 28th annual user group conference last month in Colorado Springs. Alert said there was a high level of interest in its twin themes of Profitability and Mobility. More than half of the attendees represented multi-store operations, including big names in tool, heavy equipment and event rental.

In addition to more than 15 optional classes and round tables, attendees networked with other owners and managers to share expertise in similar markets. Three formal advisory councils — general rental, event rental and heavy equipment rental — also convened to discuss market-specific issues and to recommend software features to help solve them.

Alert’s business spans 50 U.S. states, Canada, the Caribbean Islands and several other countries. The company, founded as Interactive Management Systems in 1976, is based in Colorado Springs, Colo.
