Las Vegas-based Ahern Rentals has purchased a 3.6-acre property in Sacramento, Calif., for about $2 million, the Sacramento Bee reported. The site includes 7,200 square feet of building space, the Bee reported.
The property was formerly the site of Camblin Steel Service, which acquired a new site in Rocklin, Calif., recently. According to Bee sources, Ahern officials liked the site’s proximity to Interstate 80 and Highway 50.
It is not known whether Ahern Rentals plans to use the facility for a new rental center or move its existing Sacramento branch there. Ahern Rentals officials could not be reached for comment.
Ahern Rentals is No. 6 on the RER 100.
