Admar Supply, one of upstate New York and Pennsylvania’s largest rental companies, held a grand opening of its newly renovated 19,000-square-foot showroom in Pittston, Pa., located in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa., area. The event included a Wacker-Neuson Road Show demonstration and Vertical Digging System Excavator Challenge. Admar is the exclusive distributor of the Wacker-Neuson compact equipment line in the region.

Since opening a year ago, Admar’s Wilkes-Barre location is now an “Elite Stihl dealer” and is rapidly expanding its staff.

“Admar is proud to make this investment in the Wilkes-Barre community,” said branch manager Ed Cologie. “Our newly renovated showroom is a demonstration of our commitment, and we’re excited to grow even more in the months and years ahead.”

Admar safety director Mike Laboski and other equipment experts were on hand, demonstrating construction equipment and machinery and sharing insights on National Dig Safely Month, which encourages professionals and DIY homeowners alike to practice safe-digging procedures. Studies show that a utility line is damaged by digging equipment every three minutes. Laboski and other safety experts provided information to help customers make the right decision to call 811 for instruction before digging.

Rochester, N.Y.-based Admar Supply is No. 49 on the RER 100.
