Burbank, Calif.-based 24/7 Studio Equipment, along with JLG Industries, held a golf tournament for customers Nov. 19, in the first of what CEO Lance Sorenson plans to be an annual event. Sorenson, who was the guiding force in the development of the rental business to film and television production studios at Adco Rents — which later sold to United Rentals — during the 1980s and NES Studio Rentals in the late 1990s — launched 24/7 earlier this year.

The tournament attracted 144 participants, all professionals in film and television production. Special guest was professional golfer Sean “The Beast” Fister, the 2005 Re-Max World Long Drive Champion. Prizes included a week’s stay at a resort in Mazatlan, Mexico.
