Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co., a full-service manufacturer and provider of portable pumps, pumping equipment and engineering expertise, recently hosted an open house celebration at its Pooler, Ga., near Savannah.
Thompson Pump hosted customers with a free BBQ lunch, facility tours, and the opportunity to win a free one-month pump rental. In addition, Alison of the Thompson Pump Blew Crew made an appearance signing calendars. Corporate staff provided insight into unusual and unique applications; new products; sewer bypass; and field preventive maintenance and service.
The Savannah branch office, one of 20 Thompson Pump branches nationwide, covers 34 area counties. Branch manager, Pat DeWitt, won Thompson Pump branch manager of the year an unprecedented two years straight, and salesman, Dennis Heater, recently won Thompson Pump’s Silver Shovel award.
Thompson Pump, a family-owned company based in Port Orange, Fla., is No. 50 on the RER 100.
