Atlas Copco's QAS 120 generator provides versatility needed to perform at a variety of construction projects. The unit's Zincor steel-coated canopy can be mounted on skid-steer loaders and is designed for extreme weather conditions. It is also designed for easy servicing and has a 500-hour service interval.

A comprehensive instrument panel enables all key operating functions to be supervised without opening the canopy. Analog gauges provide at-a-glance monitoring. Protected by a tough transparent cover, the single panel provides easy start up and control of the generator. The panel also provides full system monitoring to ease operation. A standard sealed spillage-free frame is designed to ensure that all fluids can be retained within the frame, making this unit environmentally friendly.

“The QAS 120 generator offers innovative qualities of cubicle positioning, cambered roof corners and protective skid frame,” says Chuck Westhofen, product marketing manager of compressors and generators for Atlas Copco Compressors. “Cubicle positioning on the corners allows greater access for the user, more space for controls and ease of connections. The skid base extends 5 mm from the canopy providing protection when moving. The standard 24-hour fuel tank allows for extended run times.”
