Easy-to-Operate Loader Offers Lifting Power and Visibility

Wacker Neuson's model WL 50 wheel loader offers power coming from a 4-cylinder, 75-hp turbocharged Deutz diesel engine. The 5-metric-ton machine is the most powerful in the company's articulated line with a straight load capacity of 6,870 pounds and fully articulated tipping capacity of 5,608 pounds using a standard 1-cubic-yard bucket. The unit is equipped with a two-speed select with a maximum travel speed of 12.4 mph and an option for 18.6 mph maximum travel speed. The maximum bucket pin height is 10 feet, 11 inches.

“The WL 50 is easy to drive with the steering wheel and foot pedal,” says Jay Baudhuin, product manager of compact equipment for Wacker Neuson. “It's a great rental item because even inexperienced or the occasional operator can quickly learn how to handle the unit. The bucket and arm functions are all controlled from the joystick lever and the operator never has to take their hands off the steering wheel or joystick to operate the unit.”

The WL 50 offers 360-degree visibility and sits up high so the operator can easily see what he or she is doing and also see the surroundings. The wheel loader joins the company's compact wheel loader lineup, which includes four articulated units and two all-wheel-steer models.

Verified by Jay Baudhuin, product manager of compact equipment for Wacker Neuson.
