Komtrax-equipped wheel loader

The new WA4470-7 wheel loader from Komatsu has a net horsepower of 272 hp and is powered by a Tier 4i-certified Komatsu SAA6D125E-6 engine that decreases fuel consumption by about 8 percent from its predecessor. The unit comes equipped with KOMTRAX technology, which keeps track of operating hours, fuel consumption, location, cautions and maintenance alert, allowing for remote diagnostics. The newly designed Komatsu large-capacity torque converter provides improved acceleration, faster hill-climb ability, a higher top speed and lower fuel consumption, with a lock-up function that activates in second, third and fourth gear. www.komatsuamerica.com/
