Skid loaders feature speed, power

Gehl's new model 7810E skid-steer loader is built to have the power, strength and speed needed for most any construction application. The machine is powered by a Cummins 99-hp turbo-charged diesel engine with 305 foot-pounds of torque. It has an increased load capacity of 3,850 pounds and has the power and hydraulic capabilities for breaking, hauling, grinding equipment, and more.

“The 7810E has a host of features, including true vertical-lift linkage, which provides consistent forward reach throughout the entire lift cycle,” says Kelly Moore, skid loader product manager for Gehl. “A lift height of nearly 12 feet is the highest in the industry.”

With a 3,300-psi hydraulic system relief pressure, the 7810E delivers a bucket breakout force of 8,340 pounds. The auxiliary hydraulic system, which provides standard 29 gpm adjustable flow and up to 41 gpm with optional high-flow, is designed for superb hydraulic attachment performance. A two-speed drive is available, which offers ground speeds of up to 12.5 mph. A full cab with air-conditioning system is available. Control options by customer preference include a dual-joystick system.

Verified by Kelly Moore, skid loader product manager for Gehl.
