Case Construction Equipment’s new Alpha Series line of skid-steer loaders features nine new models ranging from 46 to 90 hp, with rated operating capacities ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 pounds. The radial lift machines (SR130, SR150, SR175, SR200, SR220 and SR250) are designed for digging, prying and pushing, while the vertical lift models (SV185, SV250 and SV300) specialize in lift-and-carry applications. The skid-steer cabs are 25-percent larger and feature a narrow wire side-screen design to improve operator visibility. The glass surface was increased to provide 360-degree visibility. With improved fuel efficiency, the new 16- to 25.5-gallon fuel tanks enable the units to run eight to 10 hours without refueling. The new Power Stance chassis design features a longer wheelbase to enable operators to lift and haul more material. Electro-hydraulic switchable controls are available on all Alpha Series models.
