The new 650L crawler dozer is the latest addition to Case Construction Equipment's line of crawler dozers. Engineered to deliver more performance, a lower overall operating height and weight, and maintenance features designed to boost productivity, the 650L is built for residential jobsites and confined commercial work areas.

“The 650L is compact but powerful, so it's suited to a variety of jobs,” says Ion Warner, Case Construction Equipment senior director of marketing. “Its low overall height allows operation even under low overhangs, and its lighter machine weight makes it ideal for work around foundations. Its height and weight also make it easy to transport. In fact, it can be carried with a two-ton truck. Plus, the 90-inch blade option works well in confined job conditions and allows operation between houses with narrow lot lines. The shorter track makes it more maneuverable for easier turning. All these features make it the ideal rental machine.”

The 650L delivers 74 net hp through a Tier-3-certified, four-cylinder, 4.5-liter turbocharged Case Family IV engine with electronic fuel injection for maximum fuel efficiency and easier starts in cold weather. A charge air cooler reduces emissions and provides a cleaner and more efficient fuel burn.

In addition, the isolation-mounted dual-path hydrostatic drive components on the 650L are designed to deliver precise variable power turning and counter rotation. Adjustable operator settings allow the customer to set the steering, shuttle and maximum speed based on personal preference or application.
