New ZTrak Pro Mowers Are Smooth Operators
John Deere introduces a new line of mowers for the professional landscape contractor. The ZTrak PRO 900 Series features Deere's durable 7-Iron Pro deck with stamped, 7-gauge steel, full-wrap reinforcement and mulch-on-demand capabilities.
The 900 Series is suitable for the rental industry because it is built with durability in the areas that take the most abuse. The seven models feature run flat tires on the front, cast iron caster arms, cast iron front caster forks, and a cast iron rear bumper to support the rear of the machine.
“The new ZTrak PRO 900s are the most productive, smoothest operating, easiest-to-use mowers we've ever built,” says Chase Tew, John Deere tactical brand manager, commercial mowing. “The 900 Series covers more acres faster, offers a higher quality of cut and will help landscape pros increase their uptime.”
For improved controllability, the Z900s include new, ground-drive transmission featuring a piston motor, internal wet disc brakes and a gear reduction final drive, providing more torque to the drive tires. The units also feature dial-in height of cut adjustment on the control panel; on board, self-diagnostics; and John Deere's exclusive Brake & Go system.
Verified by Chase Tew, John Deere tactical brand manager, commercial mowing.
