Mid-size hydraulic excavator

The Komatsu PC88MR-8 is a mid-sized 8-ton hydraulic excavator designed to bridge the gap between compact and construction-sized units, equipped with KOMTRAX telematics technology. The unit’s X-frame undercarriage helps prevent mud and debris build-up. A pilot-proportional joystick provides auxiliary hydraulics control and a 7-inch color monitor facilitates viewing of machine functions and monitoring system. The unit is equipped with a control pattern change valve enabling the operator to choose between backhoe- or excavator-style controls. The Komatsu IT4, 65-hp diesel engine powers the machine, which features increased drawbar pull, faster travel speed more arm digging force and improved dozer blade travel to enhance grading and backfill options. www.komatsuamerica.com/
