New Allmand TLB Boasts Exclusive Extended Service Life Design

The Allmand TLB-6235 four-wheel drive compact tractor loader backhoe with the exclusive ESL backhoe design is engineered with the digging power to meet the needs of general construction, landscaping, utility and other small to mid-size earthmoving applications.

It features a 65-hp-rated servo-controlled hydrostatic transmission, which provides positive neutral and infinite control of the machine, as well as reduced pedal effort in either forward or reverse travel model. The addition of four-wheel drive provides increased versatility over two-wheel drive models, allowing operators to work in more adverse conditions.

“The TLB-6235 was designed specifically with the rental market in mind,” says Doug Dahlgren, sales engineer, Allmand Bros. “Its compact size, high-performance, full-time 4X4 drive train and ruggedized ESL design make it all perfectly suited for the hard use typical of the rental industry.”

Powered by a 35-hp, liquid-cooled Isuzu diesel engine, the TLB-6235 is driven by an axial piston motor capable of running at higher pressure and rpms, increasing efficiency. Allmand's ESL (Extended Service Life) backhoe design features oversized pins with composite bearings and urethane lip seals in all working joints — a design that reduces friction and extends service intervals by eliminating metal-to-metal contact retaining grease and keeping debris out.

For added safety, the TLB-6235 features Allmand's exclusive heavy-duty boom lock, which can be easily engaged or disengaged from the operator's seat. With a 6,000-pound digging force, the TLB-6235 reaches up to a 9-foot, 10-inch digging depth, and features a dual-cylinder, 180-degree hydraulic cushioned swing for precise work in tight areas.
