The Hilti TE 60 Combihammer features a 1,200-watt motor that delivers improved power for drilling, chiseling and demolition in concrete, stone and masonry. Available models include the TE 60 and the TE 60 ATC-AVR (pictured), which adds active torque control and active vibration reduction to the TE 60 model. Active torque control shuts the motor off in a fraction of a second if the drill bit sticks and the tool body rotates too quickly, providing added operator protection. Active vibration reduction provides a built-in mass damper system that reduces vibration by up to two-thirds, increasing comfort and reducing long-term vibration exposure. Both models feature optimized mechanical clutch for maximum torque as well as improved power-to-weight ratio. The TE 60 is designed for drilling holes for rebar dowels and anchor bolts, through-hole coring for electrical and mechanical applications as well as chiseling concrete.
