Doosan Infracore Portable Power

Doosan Portable Power introduces the new XP825 portable air compressor, which is EPA Tier-4 Interim compliant. The XP825 produces 825 cfm at a rated operating pressure of 125 psi. The Cummins QSB6.7 engine uses cooled exhaust gas recirculation and a Cummins particulate filter to provide power for maximum output with minimal maintenance. Service points on the XP825 are easily accessible for faster maintenance of coolers, filters and fluids. The cool-box design of the portable XP 825 improves performance when operating in high ambient conditions. An intuitive full-color display and an easy-to-read interface allows information on the unit to be immediately accessed and monitored via a wireless connection with a Smartphone, tablet or personal computer.

Kaeser Compressors

Kaeser introduces its M64 Mobilair portable air compressor, which is suited for outdoor use in applications such as sand blasting, pavement breaking and general air tool use. Featuring a Sigma Profile rotary screw air end that produces more air with less horsepower, the M64 provides 225 cfm at 100 psig. Units include a large fuel tank and easy-to-read control panel with a push-to-load switch. The proprietary anti-frost thermostatic control valve avoids tool freeze-ups, while the high-efficiency cooling system allows for operation in ambient temperatures up to 120F.

Jenny Products

The K Series gas-powered wheeled portable compressors from Jenny Products include four models, all with 5.5-hp Honda GX engines. Operating on either a recoil or electric start, the K Series single-stage compressors deliver 8.9 cfm at 100 psi or 8.6 cfm at 125 psi for quick recovery. The compressors are available in four air tank configurations: 8- and 15-gallon air tanks, which are low-profile, powder-coated twin-tank receivers and 17- and 30-gallon air tanks, which are powder-coated and ASME certified. Each compressor is belt driven with a large flywheel for easy start-ups and extra cooling, and a directional air shroud helps further reduce pump temperatures.

Atlas Copco Compressors

Atlas Copco's XAS 750 JD7 Tier 4a rotary screw, portable compressor generates 750 cfm of free air delivery and 100 psi at normal working pressure. Powered by a 200-hp John Deere six-cylinder diesel engine, the XAS 750 JD7 is Tier 4a-compliant and designed for heavy-duty construction environments. With a fuel tank capacity of 78 gallons, the electronically controlled, water-cooled engine has fuel consumption of 8.2 gallons per hour at 100-percent load, a significant improvement over the previous model, the maker says. Offering 750 cfm of free air delivery at normal working pressure, the XAS 750 JD7 has an air receiver capacity of 16.7 gallons. The unit's air end is designed to require less horsepower, resulting in better fuel efficiency.
