Terex introduces its newest compact track loader models, the PT-100G (pictured) and PT-100G Forestry. The largest compact track loaders in the Terex lineup, these new models offer operators a 14.6-percent increase in tractive effort in low gear for more pushing power, a 32-percent increase in horsepower to the attachment, a redesigned loader arm to achieve greater reach and 13-percent more bucket breakout force over their predecessors. Both models feature a 99.9-hp engine and cooling fan blades automatically adjust to provide optimum airflow while minimizing engine horsepower consumption.

John Deere

John Deere offers its 85D mid-sized excavator, which features a swing boom that allows it to dig parallel to walls and foundations. Increased swing torque and drawbar pull make the 85D feel like a bigger machine. Other features include a comfort-designed cab, advanced LCD monitor, a high-efficiency cooling system, a Tier-3 diesel engine and improved serviceability. Rubber tracks are optional.

Bobcat

Selectable Joystick Controls with two-speed travel are now available as options on Bobcat S100 (pictured) and T110 loaders. These controls are designed to have a natural feel and be less fatiguing, allowing operators to be more productive and work longer hours. They give operators the choice of ISO or H-pattern controls. Two-speed travel boosts top travel speed on the S100 skid-steer loader by 33 percent and by 61 percent on the T110 compact track loader.

IHI Compact Excavator

The SC75 rubber track concrete buggy is designed to deliver maximum performance in any environment including wet or muddy conditions, rough, uneven terrain, and loose sand and gravel. It can hold up to 16 cubic feet of material. A 22-hp engine enables the machine to reach speeds up to 6 mph. Features include hydrostatic drive, rubber tracks, and a 90-degree dump angle. The buggy is 95 inches long, 35 inches wide and 57 inches long.

Toro introduces its TRX-26 walk-behind trencher, which features a 26-hp Kawasaki engine. The TRX-26 is designed for utility workers, irrigation contractors and plumbers. Ditch Witch

The XT855 excavator-tool carrier is a compact, multi-function machine that features an excavator with a 260-degree swing plus a tool carrier that can drive as many as 70 compact utility attachments. The XT855 is equipped with a net 30-hp engine and directs up to 18 hp to the tool carrier end so attachments are more productive. The XT855 has a lift capacity of up to 1,080 pounds when equipped with optional extension legs, which provide leveling support in difficult digging conditions such as muddy and uneven terrain.

Volvo Construction Equipment

The Volvo CE B-Series skid-steer loader line includes five models: MC60B, MC70B, MC80B, MC90B and the MC110B (pictured). All models are Tier-3 certified and have operating capacities ranging from 1,400 pounds to 2,400 pounds and engine power from 45 to 83 net hp. An overhauled hydraulic system increases serviceability with the hydraulic filter integrated into the hydraulic tank to open up space in the rear engine compartment. The hydraulic hoses have been upgraded to steel tubes for more durability, and the hydraulic lines are now located on top of the lift arm.

Case

The Case CX B Series compact excavator line now offers proportional auxiliary hydraulic control, swing tower foot pedal control and a 4-way dozer blade. Available on the CX27B, CX31B, CX36B and CX50B, proportional auxiliary hydraulic control allows operators to regulate the hydraulic flow to attachments for better handling and manipulation. The swing tower foot pedal control allows for simultaneous function command over the swing tower and house. The new 4-way blade offers increased productivity in trenching applications.

Kubota Tractor Corp. enters the compact track loader market with the new SVL75 (pictured) and SVL90. The 74.3-gross-hp SVL75 has a 6,204-pound bucket breakout force and a 4,881-pound lifting capacity. The 90-gross-hp SVL90 has a bucket breakout force of 7,961 pounds and a lifting capacity of 5,869 pounds. Both models are powered by a four-cylinder, direct-injection, turbo-charged Kubota diesel engine.

Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson's WL 30 articulated wheel loader can easily be transferred from a summertime jack-of-all-trades to a versatile snow removal machine. The WL 30 offers a spacious, heated cab, adjustable seat and intuitive controls. It has an on-demand differential lock for good traction, and four-wheel drive with articulated steering for maneuverability.
