Volvo Rents is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its Asheville, NC based, world-class team.

Responsible for the lead position in Fleet Purchasing for the design, development and implementation of procedures to maintain the highest quality of service to the franchise network while improving efficiencies in product and vendor management; maximizing purchasing strength, reducing procurement costs and facilitating growth.

Knowledge:

• Experience in the construction equipment rental business with a specialization in procurement.
• Minimum 10 years equipment or purchasing experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of GAAP and proficient with accounts payable procedures.
