Cleveland BrothersCleveland Brothers - The Rental Manager's primary objective is to grow rental revenue market share by growing existing customers' rental revenue spend, as well as, increasing active customer base thru new account acquisition. They need to provide leadership while training, coaching and developing our rental sales professionals. Additionally, they are responsible for driving results to meet revenue/profit, active/new accounts, and fleet performance goals (financial and time utilization).

- Collaborate with CE Regional Sales Managers to develop strategy to grow rental market share in their respective territories
- Participate in Regional CE sales meetings to discuss market conditions, competition, and the effectiveness of rental efforts and to provide training on products and processes as needed
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and motivating highly effective Rental Sales Reps
- Travel with rental reps weekly to assess performance and to foster customer relationships
- Create development plans for rental reps which includes individual training needs for both product and selling skills
- Identify and assist reps to acquire conquest rental accounts
- Conduct monthly one-on-one evaluations with reps reviewing job duties, goals/objectives and results. Examples include: # of sales calls, # of new accts, invoiced revenue, etc...
- Implement standard rental sales processes to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Interacts with Service Managers, Rental Operations Management, Transportation Coordinators and the Corporate Used Equipment Department to ensure a best in class customer experience
- Be an integral participant in the Cat Rental Store fleet planning process
- Manage, monitor and report out rental rate realization (discount controls) striving to optimize Financial Utilization
- Participate in vendor relations. (Caterpillar as well as all OCR Allied vendors)

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Previous Rental Sales Rep. and Sales Management experience is preferred
- Ability to lead, coach and motivate rental sales professionals on selling techniques and processes
- Effective reasoning decision making abilities
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with co-workers
- Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Practical experience using Word, Excel, and Power Point programs
- Must be willing to travel overnight.
