Arvada, Colo.-based Wanco Inc. last week launched its new website, www.wanco.com. The new site features improved navigation, updated images, and a user-friendly interface designed to enhance the customer experience.

Wanco is a leading manufacturer of highway safety and traffic control products, and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2009. The launch of the new website was timed to coincide with several new product releases and this quarter-century milestone.

“We felt that our old site, while sufficient for Wanco's past needs, required updating because Wanco has moved into other areas of the traffic control and highway safety markets, as well as into portable security, power and lighting,” said Ron Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing for Wanco.

The new website includes persistent navigation that provides access to any product line from any page, a modern design more in keeping with Wanco's image, and a complete product listing — all Wanco products are represented. Each product page has sections on features, options, specifications and more. The support section features information frequently asked for by users of Wanco products. Requests submitted through the new contact page go directly to the department most suited to addressing the request. The new site also has a news section, links to other industry sites, and service and literature request forms.
