JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corp. company and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, last week finalized its Equipment Selector tool, which is available online at www.jlg.com/equipment-selector/. The new online tool is designed to help both current and potential JLG customers choose the best telehandler, aerial work platform, stock picker or LiftPod for their job.
Users select the type of material they’re moving, identify where they are working and then choose the working height needed. The Equipment Selector tool also allows users to select either U.S. or Metric measurements. In addition, there is an advanced search option to narrow choices down even further. This function allows people to drill down to work type (i.e. drywall, maintenance, electrical contracting, among others), industry (i.e. aviation, educational, military, manufacturing, among others) and carrying capacity.
