Terex AWP is offering four new Genie telescopic boomlifts, the S-60X, the S-60XC, the S-60Trax and the S-80X, all with restricted platform capacities up to 1,250 pounds. By increasing work platform capacity, the maximum number of occupants has increased to three, thus increasing productivity. Other benefits include a ramped boom-control system providing smoother boom functions because of angle sensors and limit switches, and a virtual-pivot primary boom that aligns the machine’s center of gravity, resulting in lower machine weight. A simplified hydraulic system enhances smooth motion for users, while cable-sequenced boom assembly facilitates inspection.
