Work Platforms Stand Up to Job Demands
Skyjack's full size rough terrain (RT) aerial work platforms help bring demanding jobs down to size. With standard 4WD, working heights up to 56 feet and capacities up to 2,500 pounds, these rough terrain machines provide extensive work capabilities.
All models come equipped with a proportional joystick control designed to prevent inadvertent operation. Standard features include spring-loaded half gate on both sides of the platform, hinged railing systems, tilt alarm with drive/lift cut-off, 110V GFI protected AC outlet on the platform. The platform also has grip lug air-filled tires, lockable cabinets and is drivable at full height on firm, level surfaces.
Safety features start with Skyjack's hallmark scissor design that maximizes rigidity and stability thus promoting increased work productivity, lift relief valve that limits capacities, manual lowering valve and all-motion audible alarm. Reduced and simplified maintenance comes standard with debris-resisting slide-out engine trays, color-coded wiring, dry-packed scissor bearings, oil level sight glass, and an hour meter to facilitate proper maintenance intervals.
Chris Dossin, director of marketing for Skyjack says features that are especially helpful to the operator include the 24-foot platform height and high-capacity, self-centering scissor stack for extremely solid-feeling work platform at all elevations. “The drive system will pull it through most any jobsite conditions,” he says.
