Telescopic Jib Enhances Work Environment Platform
The new Big Boom HB86 TJ+ from Haulotte has a telescopic jib that offers a 19-foot, 8-inch reach and proportional controls that allow operators to work in challenging and inaccessible jobsites. Other features that allow the unit to operate in a wide range of working environments include an outreach of 75 feet, 6 inches; an 8-foot platform; and the capacity to rapidly lift heavy loads up to 772 pounds.
“The HB86 TJ+ features a large platform, up to 8 feet, designed for maximum protection of the console and the operator,” says Marjolaine DeGrange, marketing communications manager for Haulotte. “The ergonomically designed control panel features optimum placement of functions for comfort and increased productivity, as well as real-time operation with visual and audible indicators.”
The boom and the jib, with its octagonal section made of high-elastic modulus steel, are rigid and provide stability to the HB86 TJ+ for improved operator comfort. The 3-section boom, which folds down directly onto the turntable, also contributes to optimal working comfort. The unit also offers a narrow fixed-width frame, an oscillating axle and a differential wheel lock to allow for operation in cramped areas.
Verified by Marjolaine DeGrange, marketing communications manager for Haulotte.
