Rechargeable Batteries Keep Vertical Mast Lift Up
JLG Industries introduces the model 20MVL self-propelled vertical mast lift. The MVL has a 19-foot, 6-inch platform height and a platform capacity of 350 pounds. The mobile vertical lift has an extended life gearbox, single joystick drive and steer control, automatic rapid recharge battery charger and two sealed 100-amp per hour maintenance-free batteries.
“The MVL incorporates direct electric drive. This feature provides significantly improved duty cycles and reduced leak points,” says Jeff Ford, product parent for JLG. “The MVL also utilizes a joystick and gearbox similar to a construction grade scissorlift giving it an edge in durability.”
Standard features on the vertical lift include non-marking tires, transportation tie-downs, built-in fork truck pockets, an hour meter, an all-motion alarm and a 110-volt double receptacle on the platform. The machine complies with ANSI, OSHA and CSA requirements and features an automatic pothole protection system, a 1.5-degree tilt alarm and control, and a flashing amber beacon and horn for safety. An illuminated light at the control panel indicates when the drive motor brushes need to be replaced, which helps protect the motor from damage.
Verified by Jeff Ford, product parent for JLG Industries.
