Lift Attachment Straddles Obstacles in Fixed Venues
Genie Industries introduces the Super-Straddle accessory redesign that is an attachment allowing operators to mount a Genie AWP Super Series personnel lift above obstacles such as fixed seating in theaters, auditoriums and convention centers. It provides up-and-over access in spaces that are otherwise inaccessible and hard to reach. The Super-Straddle was redesigned to meet the latest ANSI A92.3 standards and is CE compliant.
“The Super-Straddle is a versatile, efficient accessory for facilities such as schools and churches,” says Kim Williams, senior market analyst for Genie Industries. “It allows easy overhead access for maintenance like changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling panels and even for touching up paint. The display lights on the AWP Super Series lift's ground control panel will notify operators when the redesigned accessory is set up correctly and ready to operate.”
Designed for easy assembly and operations, the Super-Straddle weighs 580 pounds and provides up to 4 feet of vertical clearance from the ground. The end frames adjust for leveling on floors with slopes up to six degrees. The unit provides straight-forward, two-man assembly that takes about 20 to 30 minutes to set up the unit.
Verified by Kim Williams, senior market analyst for Genie Industries.
