Hydraulic Outrigger Allows for Quick Setup

Bil-Jax introduces its new 36/32T telescopic aerial work platform. The trailer-mounted boomlift provides 42 feet of working height and 32 feet of outreach and features an automatic, self-leveling hydraulic outrigger system that allows for setup in 30 seconds when all four outriggers are deployed simultaneously. The outriggers provide a leveling capability of 12 degrees and feature 12-inch diameter non-marking footpads for use on sensitive flooring and rough terrain jobsites.

The new work platform is available with either 24V DC battery power or a Honda gasoline engine. Other features include a two-person platform with a rated load capacity of 440 pounds; a 360-degree continuous turntable rotation; hydraulic surge brakes; forklift pockets; outrigger interlocks; and a 110V GFI duplex outlet within the platform.

The 36/32T can be operated from either the platform or ground control station. Both feature an easy-to-understand display panel with control buttons that are logically positioned around a single machine image for easy identification of button functions.

Bob Yoder, national sales manager for the aerial lift and trailer division of Bil-Jax, says the 36/32T was developed to meet the needs of customers who wanted the advantage of a telescopic towable boom lift and the convenience of hydraulic outriggers. “The 36/32T offers a maximum platform height of 36 feet and an industry leading 32 feet of maximum side reach,” he says. “The 36/32T also offers hydraulic outriggers and offers a quick-disconnect platform and optional material lifting system that converts the machine into a trailer-mounted crane in seconds.”
