Case

Case introduces the 586G Series 3 and the 588G Series 3 (pictured) rough-terrain forklifts. These machines come with a 4.5-liter turbocharged Tier-3-certified Case engine that delivers 80 net horsepower, a 10-percent increase over previous models. The 586G Series 3 has a lift capacity of 6,000 pounds and an operating weight of 14,337 pounds. For larger loads, the 588G Series 3 lifts up to 8,000 pounds and has an operating weight of 16,684 pounds. The Case G Series 3 forklifts offer easy-to-operate controls, a choice of seats and operator compartment entry from either side. Load control is available for smooth operation and minimal chain stress for reduced maintenance cost.

Manitou North America

Manitou North America launches the MRT 2150P Privilege Series, which features a more powerful Tier-3 Mercedes engine and improvements to the operator's compartment. The larger cab has improved visibility due to its curved windshield and new instrument panel. The MRT 2150 offers a 10,000-pound capacity with 67 feet, 7 inches of lift height, as well as continuous rotation and frame-leveling for easy placement of loads on any jobsite. The redesigned Terex Fuchs MHL 350D material handler includes key design enhancements that provide improved lifting capabilities, an updated cab with on-screen display and compliance with Tier-3 and COM-3 emission standards. The new CTL55 compact track loader features a narrow, 58-inch width for work on confined jobsites. Powered by a 51-hp Yanmar Tier-3, EPA-certified turbocharged diesel engine, the CTL55 has pilot-operated joystick controls that include hydraulic push-button controls for boom float and detent for auxiliary hydraulics. The self-leveling hydraulic lift action is designed to keep loads balanced when the lift arm is raised. Mustang introduces the 842 model to its telescopic handler line. With its 42-foot lift height, the machine offers customers a four-story, 8,000-pound machine designed for rental, residential and small commercial construction projects. The new unit shares a boom design with the larger Mustang Deluxe Series of telehandlers — models 944 and 1155 — giving it extra durability. Stone Construction Equipment has added a 21-cubic-foot mortar buggy to the Stone Mud Buggy line — the SB2100. The new model has a load capacity of 3,200 pounds with the versatility of a walk-behind or ride-on machine, and is powered by a 13-hp Honda engine. The SB2100 is designed to move concrete, mortar, gravel, dirt and debris around jobsites. The one-piece, lift-away poly-ethylene engine cover requires no tools to remove and can be lifted away for full access to the engine compartment without dumping the tub. A large 8-gallon fuel tank provides longer run times while the 7-gallon removable hydraulic tank allows for cooler running.
