Lifting Gear last week named Tony Fiscelli general manager of Lifting Gear Hire Corp.’s United States operations. Fiscelli has worked for Lifting Gear since 1995, previously serving as technical operations engineer and national rental center manager in Chicago.

Fiscelli’s responsibilities will include management and set up of all LGH USA distribution centers, overseeing 60 employees, including three regional commercial sales managers who oversee a sales team of more than 20 representatives. He’ll oversee the LGH sales division and management of the LGH marketing and IT departments.

Lifting Gear Hire Corp., a subsidiary of worldwide Lifting Gear Hire, specializes in the rental, sales, service, inspection and testing of lifting and winching equipment. “It is very exciting to be part of a business that has the growth rate that LGHC has,” said Fiscelli. “The quality and safe practices of LGHC have revolutionized the way hoisting and rigging equipment is rented in the United States.”

Lifting Gear operates U.S. distribution facilities in Louisiana, where it recently opened a facility in New Orleans, as weIl as Bridgeview, Ill.; Troy, Mich.; St. Louis; Houston and Irving, Texas; and Seattle.

“Our business is about managing resources, solving problems and helping our customers to work safely, efficiently and cost effectively by minimizing the cost of equipment ownership,” said Pat Fiscelli, vice president of LGH’s U.S. operations.

Based in the U.S. in Bridgeview, Ill., Lifting Gear is No. 95 on the RER 100. The company has operations in the United Kingdom, Holland and Germany.
