Home Depot To Reach 1,000 Rental Departments

Home Depot will open its 1,000th tool rental department this week, in Burlington, N.C., RER Reports has learned. It will also open its first store in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, including a tool rental center there.

The company has also begun a remodeling of its Leominster, Mass., store to bring it up to the company’s latest prototype, according to the Fitchburg Sentinel. Among the improvements will be a tool rental department as well as a new roadway entrance to the store. Local store managers said the rental department will be completed in February.

Atlanta-based Home Depot Rental is No. 7 on the RER 100.
