Hirepool Limited, New Zealand’s top rental company, has topped 50 branches with the opening of three new branches this month in Nelson and Tauranga.

Earlier this month, Hirepool acquired the Handi Hire business in Nelson, which has two locations. Hirepool is also about to open a multi-million dollar “super center” in Taurange, giving it 52 locations.

Hirepool managing director Tenby Powell said the acquisition completes “phase one” of its natural growth strategy to achieve national coverage within two years.
