Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week announced it will celebrate grand re-openings of its College Park, Ga., and New Castle, Del., general rental facilities on Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28, respectively.

The events will take place at the stores between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will showcase the College Park facility’s new 5400-square-foot showroom and the New Castle facility’s new 8,000-square-foot showroom, as well as newly-expanded product lines in both locations, which include small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.

As part of Hertz’s commitment to expand services available for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, both renovated locations offer a broad range of products, including lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, the locations still offer a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl. Equipment is available to rent or buy.

Both grand re-opening events will offer vendor demonstrations and literature, a free catered lunch and on-site giveaways while supplies last.

The newly renovated College Park facility is housed on a 2-acre lot, just minutes away from Hartsfield Jackson/Atlanta International Airport. Its hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 5:30 pm.

The newly renovated New Castle facility is housed on a 3.5-acre lot, minutes from Route 1 and I-95. HERC New Castle serves seven counties in the tri-state area and is the only Hertz Equipment Rental facility in the state of Delaware. It operates Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

With more than 265 locations in the United States and Canada, and an additional 95 locations in France and Spain, Park Ridge, N.J.-based Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hertz Corp., is No. 3 on the RER 100.
