Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week opened newly remodeled stores in San Antonio, Texas, and Sanford, Fla. The remodeled stores will offer HERC’s expanded line of products, including small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies, for rental and sale. HERC held a grand re-opening celebration in Sanford last Friday, and will hold one in San Antonio April 8.

HERC is expanding its service to small- and medium-size contractors in both stores, including items such as air tools, generators, pressure washers, concrete saws, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. HERC will continue to offer the larger equipment that it is best known for, such as skid-steer loaders, backhoes, forklifts, aerial work platforms and trucks.

The branches will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 8 to 4:30 on Saturdays.

No. 3 on the RER 100, Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC has more than 265 locations in North America and an additional 95 branches in France and Spain.
