Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week celebrated the grand re-opening of its renovated general rental facility in Miami. The branch, like many the company has recently renovated, is offering an expanded inventory of smaller items, such as lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. More than 550 customers attended the grand re-opening, which featured vendor demonstrations, door prizes and a barbecue lunch.

The company will continue its long-offered selection of larger earthmoving and aerial equipment.

The Miami branch features 5,500 square feet of shop space and Saturday hours.

Based in Park Ridge, N.J., HERC is No. 3 on the RER 100.
