Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week held a grand re-opening of a renovated general rental facility in Santa Maria, Calif, which is located about halfway between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. The re-opening showcased the facility’s new 1,600-square-foot showroom and newly expanded product line, including small tools and equipment and contractors’ supplies.

HERC will also open a new store in Pacheco, east of the San Francisco Bay Area on Sept. 23. The new store also features small tools and equipment and contractor supplies as well as the company’s traditional inventory of construction and industrial equipment from such makers as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Multiquip and Stihl.

Based in Park Ridge, N.J., HERC is No. 3 on the RER 100.
