Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week opened a remodeled rental facility in Tarpon Springs, Fla., serving Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. The company held a re-opening celebration to showcase the newly remodeled rental center. This is the third re-opening in the Florida market this year for the Park Ridge, N.J.-based company.

The celebration showcased HERC’s newly expanded line of products for rental and sale including small tools, equipment and contractors supplies. As part of HERC’s commitment to expand its service to the small- to medium-size contractor, the branch is including air tools, generators, pressure washers, concrete saws, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding, augmenting HERC’s more traditional inventory mix of backhoes, bulldozers, excavators and aerial work platforms.

No. 3 on the RER 100, HERC has more than 265 locations in the United States and Canada and 95 branches in France and Spain.
