Godwin Pumps recently opened a new branch in East Brunswick, N.J.

“We’ve built a good customer base in this region over the years,” said Godwin Pumps president John Michael Paz. “Our new facility will help us open even more doors, servicing customers in our own backyard.” Godwin Pumps is headquartered in Bridgeport, N.J.

Located on two acres, the 13,000-square-foot facility includes an equipment yard, service shop, parts center and offices for nearly 20 employees serving the New York metropolitan area and northern New Jersey. The new rental center is about 30 minutes south of New York City.

Godwin Pumps provides rental, sales and service of pumps. The company’s specialty is its Dri-Prime pump, an automatic self-priming centrifugal pump ranging from 2 to 16 inches. It also offers hydraulic and electric submersible pumps, wellpoint and other pumps, generators and light towers.

Curt Hogancamp is branch manager of the new facility. He has been with Godwin since 1998, starting as a sales engineer with the primary responsibility of developing business in the northern New Jersey/New York City area. Hogancamp has more than 15 years of experience in the rental industry, specializing in rental, sales and service of portable and permanent pumping systems for construction, industry and municipalities.

The branch is offering site tours and equipment demos to introduce its services and new facility to customers and new contacts. Godwin Pumps’ rental branch customers include rental centers that often re-rent from Godwin on jobs requiring greater knowledge than the rental center can offer, in addition to a wide-ranging fleet.

Godwin Pumps has 22 U.S. rental facilities and a network of more than 100 distributor locations worldwide.
