Finning Canada last week opened a new Cat Rental Store in Richmond, B.C., not far from Vancouver. Finning now has 27 Cat Rental Store locations in British Columbia and Alberta.

“The economy in Richmond, and the lower mainland more specifically, is expected to be strong for the foreseeable future led by local infrastructure development such as the Richmond-Airport-Vancouver rapid transit line and our new store is ideally positioned to serve the needs of local contractors,” said Harry Hoyer, general manager of Finning’s Cat Rental Stores.

The newly renovated 4,200-square-foot facility employs three people and is managed locally by Doug Karr, an 18-year veteran of the equipment rental business.

Finning Canada is the Caterpillar dealer serving Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territories. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Finning is No. 17 on the RER 100.
