Man Steals Rental Equipment Under Former Employer’s Name
A former construction company employee was recently charged with stealing construction rental equipment in the name of his former employer, a West Virginia contractor, Robinson Township, Pa., police said last week.
Robinson police said Bobby Jay Haught was charged with five counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, the Beaver County Times and Allegheny Times Web site reported. Police said Haught rented several pieces of equipment from Pittsburgh-based Knickerbocker-Russell Co., using the name of two current employees of the Carl Walker Construction Co., a West Virginia-based firm.
Police said Haught sold the equipment, worth around $9,000 for about $5,500.
